# Jim Dotson
Arkansas State Senator. Subject of two documented Auditor's-office outreach efforts on Israel Bonds.
The first is Jason Brady's 4/7/2025 drafted "Informal letter to Sen. Dotson and Rep. Warren on fancy stationary" with the signature line "Dennis Milligan," documented in the Spadoni R1 custodian production at [[auditor-foia-r1-spadoni]]. The letter introduced Berman and Young and requested the Senator's time during their April 14-15 Arkansas visit. Brady authored the text; Milligan signed. The draft contained the disclosure that Milligan "worked with and have know Mr. Berman and Israel Bonds since my time in the State Treasury when the Legislature allowed me to purchase bonds of Israel" — a finding documented in [[dennis-milligan]] and [[jason-brady]].
The second is the mid-May 2025 follow-up captured in the Brady-Spadoni iMessage thread at [[auditor-foia-r2-residual]]. Brady instructed Spadoni: "Please send this email to she Senator from the dm account- edit away but keep it short please. Thank you" followed by a drafted Sen. Dotson message: "Just following up in hopes of securing maybe 15 minutes max with you on either Monday or Tuesday to introduce and quickly visit with representatives of Israel Bonds. I know I am asking for time on their behalf and the state of Israel during the busiest time of the session, your consideration is greatly appreciated. DM". Brady's "DM" signature line and instruction to send "from the dm account" (Milligan's account or personal AOL
[email protected]) document the office's text-message channel for Brady-to-Spadoni delegation of formal-Milligan-voice legislative outreach during the busiest week of the legislative session. The April 14-15 Capitol tour was over by mid-May; the follow-up therefore concerns a separate post-tour Israel Bonds introduction Brady was orchestrating during the legislative session.
Dotson's documentary footprint in the wiki is limited to these two outreach efforts. Whether Dotson responded, met with Berman, or took any subsequent action on Israel Bonds legislation is not documented in this batch. Dotson does not appear on the 4/14-15 Capitol tour eight-meeting schedule documented at [[auditor-multi-official-capitol-tour]]; the wiki therefore does not document a successful Dotson-Berman meeting. The mid-May follow-up request indicates the prior outreach (April 7 letter) did not yield a scheduled meeting during the trip, and Brady was pressing for a new in-person introduction five weeks later.
